The first-months edit

The things that actually help in those early, hazy weeks · 4 min read

Nobody tells you how much of early parenthood is just problem-solving in a fog. You're tired in a way that doesn't have a name yet, and somehow you're also expected to know exactly what a newborn needs at 3am.

We've put together this edit for those first months — not a list of everything, but the things we'd actually recommend. The ones that earn their place on the changing table, in the basket by the sofa, in the bag you grab on the way out the door.

A swaddle that stays put. A bodysuit soft enough to sleep in. A little balm for dry skin that smells like nothing at all, because that's exactly what it should smell like. A muslin that does about twelve different jobs before noon.

None of it is complicated. That's the point. The first months are full enough without things that need instructions. We choose pieces that work quietly in the background — so you can focus on the part that actually matters.

Everything here is made to be used, washed, and used again. Because that's what the first months really look like.
