The slow-morning edit

Notes on slow living, small spaces and growing up · 4 min read

There's a particular kind of morning we love at Bruno — the ones with nowhere to be. Slippers on cold floors, a half-eaten breakfast, a toddler negotiating with a sock. Nothing efficient about it, and that's rather the point.

We built this edit around that feeling. Soft cotton pyjamas that don't itch by 7am. A wooden puzzle that takes exactly as long as a cup of coffee. A book with just enough pages to finish before the day properly begins.

None of it is flashy. It doesn't need to be. The best things for small people are usually the quiet ones — made to be handled, dropped, washed, and handed down without much fuss. We choose things that hold up to that kind of life, because that's the only kind small children actually live.

So if your mornings are slow this week, we hope something here makes them a little lovelier.
